Title: Can sjogrens cause this?
Post by: trc1962 on December 12, 2023, 08:16:48 AM
Good morning, I recently posted about body pain and now something new has shown up. I have had a stiffness and discomfort in my upper back and neck and I have had some discomfort in my groin when walking at times. This morning the heel of my hands is tender to the touch and I wonder if I am developing RA or can sjogrens cause this? Hoping it is just sjogrens. Thanks for any answers offered.

Hi  :)

Yeah = Sjogrens can cause a lot of aches and pains. It affects connective tissue. having it doesn't stop other stuff going wrong however - so always safest to check with your doc when other symptoms occur.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Scottie is right about that. Also, something that I also learned the hard way is after being concerned over some "symptoms" I remembered that I had done some tasks around the house that required some positions that probably caused my symptoms. We have to remember to wait a period of time to see if the "symptoms" go away. Many time they leave and never come back...so possibly related to Sjogrens Syndrome --but maybe not. If the issues stay and continue to bother then it makes sense to make an appointment with your doctor. Good luck. meirish
