Sjoggie-Mates,
For those of you who pray, May I please ask for your prayers. As you know I likely have a matter of weeks before I pass. The stress of our situation has put my husband in the hospital with chest pains. It is starting to look like he is in cardiac failure. He is having a left-heart catheterization this a.m. Our grown daughter is a basket case thinking she is about to lose both parents in one fell swoop. I have no opiates for my own pain because of our screwed up DEA laws..the medical marijuana is not working for me anymore.. I can barely sit upright by my husband's bedside at the hospital because my own pain is excruciating. Please lift our family up at this time.
Thank you.

I was not aware of your situation. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Certainly I will say prayers for you and your family, that you will receive comfort, kindness and help.
I have followed your posts on your cough and finally a dx of a lung infection, I was under the impression it was treatable. Sorry to hear that it is not so. Prayers for you and husband , from me, are being sent up.

Update: My husband Steve had a 100% blocked LAD (Widow-maker) artery. They put 2 stents in yesterday. I had missed the Cardiologist both times he had been in, so I made sure to get here super early yesterday. I wanted to let the Cardiologist know what a huge amount of stress my husband has been under, with what is happening to me & likely what precipitated the chest pains. As I was telling him this, the doctor saw how much I was trembling from the pain I am in. He took my pulse and then called my doctor. My doc called in some pain meds for me. If I ever get any news about my sample at Mayo..maybe I will still be alive for treatment. I hope so..because I have a husband who was just kept alive..so we can hopefully celebrate 42 years of marriage on May 23rd.🤞🏼😇
B-R-E-A-T-H-E... finally!

Hi Sorry.
I am glad to hear your husband has pulled through, the Lord heard our prayers.
My husband had the Window Maker in July 3 2020 and needed up with 4 stents. He is doing very well today for an old man of 66. I am sure your husband will do wonderful too.
As for your Mayo results....I pray for good news...and a happier healthier stress free life for you guys.
SjoDry,
I am soooooooo sorry to hear what you and your husband have been dealing with. I am thinking about you both and praying for you. Hopefully your pain meds are helping? How nice of your husband's doctor to intervene for you. You deserve that.
Keep us updated on your progress. I wish you peace and rest.
Kathy
I hope your husband is still doing OK , and am very glad to hear you have been given some pain medication - I hope it's a good strong one. Let us know how you are getting on, you are very much in our thoughts and prayers.
Prayer works!!
I'm so glad you both have a little light at the end of your tunnels!!
I was just about to advise you to insist on getting pain meds. But I see a post where you ,thank goodness, got some.
Of course I will pray for you and your family.
Please post as you are able.
(((Hugs)))
I will certainly pray for you, your husband and your daughter. You do have a load on your shoulders as a family and am so glad that things sound some improved. That dr of your husbands was a Godsend for you and that will help your husband so much to know that you are not suffering so much now.
Prayers that having your pain controlled will give you more time to spend with your husband and allow your daughter time for both of you as you adjust and plan for the future. Many hugs. meirish
