We will probably be moving there in the Fall and I was wondering if anyone is from there and could recommend a rheumatologist.

I am in Minneapolis. I had one once with the U of MN. Then I had to change to VA care. Now i try to avoid the Rhemy.
I live in Minnesota but have relative in Iowa. There are a ton of colleges and universities in Iowa and you may luck out I'm finding a rheumy at one of the Universities.. I am thinking there is college in Iowa City but don't know if a small one or a larger one. They have a lot of good educational facilities in Iowa.
Hope you enjoy it up in this area. I will do a little searching when I get a chance. Right now I am so bogged down myself trying to find about 4 specialist in area where I moved last summer. The covid has added to the difficulty of finding new doctors as every doc is so busy catching up with all the appointments and testing that people neglected during the first year of the pandemic. Don't give up or get discouraged....just keep on looking.Good luck and have a safe and uneventful move. meirish
Thanks Meirish. Yes, the University of Iowa is there and it has a medical school, etc. I am doing research but figured in the off chance someone lives there they could "name names". Move will be delayed a bit until I have a few surgeries here. Was hoping to move this Fall but may delay until next Spring.
