I thought it might be helpful for the community (and me :) ) to see what everyone has found to be most helpful for them other than the normal prescription meds like (plaquenil, evoxac).
Maybe we could list our top 2 or 3 things instead of the entire list of things that provide "some" relief,
It might be other meds, supplements, gadgets, strategies, etc.
* Neilmed Extra Strength Sinus Rinse - allergies and sinus infections
* Whole Home Humidifier on HVAC - in my opinion, it reduces the number of sicknesses during winter months
* Sinex - when I have cough, bronchial issues this seems to help
My top three nonmedical things are sugar-free chewing gum, Instituto Espanol 10% urea skin cream, and Vaseline for lips at night.
I use Aveeno cream, Essential Oils to help all the dryness. I use heating pads for my pain and last I use waterfall, ocean, rain and thunderstorm sounds to relax my spirit.
Thank you for the responses!
Check the supplements in my signature. Before you try anything, check for counter indications, drug interactions and side effects.
LDN .. Low Dose Naltrexone
Exercise.
It's really hard some days to make myself do it. But I feel much, much better if I get exercise.
If I'm having a flare and things are too bad to do some kind of workout, I at least make the effort to get my dogs out for a walk.
Xylomelts, Genteal eye gel, and Ambien. Can?t seem to do well without.
