Title: Body temperature and sjogrens
Post by: twilite on March 26, 2020, 01:05:26 PM
My body temp is 96.8 to 97.7. When I get a 98.1 to 98.9 I feel like I am running a fever.

My head is warm and I get a headache.  It went to 99 two times last week and I too ibprophen and Tylenol.m for the headache, it didn't work

I have been headache free for 5 days now it seems to be coming back.

Do any of you with normal low temp consider this as I do a low  fever?  We are such different creatures than anyone else...

My temperature right now is 96.6.  I feel bad when it drops to 95.8 and when its 98.8.  The headaches are real and sometimes I just don't know how to handle things.  My insurance drop my last doctors so now I am back to the beginning after dealing with this diagnosis since 2013 to having to find doctors again is horrible.  My normal temp now is about 97.2 so on that note, I wish it were that right now because I would feel so much better.

My normal is 97.something. If it goes to 99, I feel awful and know I am sick. Luckily it?s very rare that I get sick.

My normal is like 96.9 to 97.6.  If I?m over that, I?m usually not feeling well.  This is just my norm but I?m not sure if it has anything to do with Sjogrens.

Hi  :)

My normal is low too and when it goes to 99 I certainly feel hot and bothered. It's been doing it quite a lot recently but I think I have a 'flare' going on.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Yes, my normal temp ranges from 97 to 98, and sometimes even lower.

I haven't had a high fever since forever because I haven't been sick.  But if my temp is 99 I'm not completely well.  I don't make a fuss about it, because, as I said, I have never really been sick since I started IVIG in 2013.

I receive IgG from between 1000-10000 paid donors every four weeks. And with that IgG I get all of the immunity that my donors have.

I had thought that this would see me through this Covid-19 horror show.  BUT since my donors have no immunity to Covid-19, I don't get any from them.  And the small amount of natural immunity in my immune system is totally inadequate to mount a defense against this virus.

I already have raging Cytokines in my immune system, which attack my organs/systems with Cytokines, profoundly damaging my nerves.

So I would go out quickly with a Cytokine storm.

So my isolation just goes on and on.  And may continue for months, or even a year or more.

I guess if I were infected with Covid-19 I might actually break 100 degrees.

Sick humor, I know..

Virtual hugs, Elaine

I am right there with you. My temperature runs low, but when it's 98.6 I am hot, and then it's not long until it's 99.
