So I've been experiencing mycolonus at night. I wanted to have my PCP run some bloodwork because if I go to the neurologist he will just throw more meds at me.
My PCP is out and has no appointments until May, the person who answered my message won't order the bloodwork because I had not seen my PCP since last year. I tried the gastroenterologist, they said highly unlikely that it's Lanzoprazole causing my issues (someone on this list pointed out that myoclonus can be a side effect) and to contact the PCP! Now I am trying the PA at the PCP's office. If that doesn't work I'll have to try the neurologist or my rheumy. OY!

Ugh. I seem to be making the rounds of doctors this week. Frustrations. The VA is a training hospital. The doctors (Interns) are so full of book learning that they refuse to listen to the patient.
Joe, sorry to hear it. I am grateful that most of my docs listen, not all hear me, but we've known each other long enough that they understand me and I them.
