Title: Anyone use Lyrica
Post by: Deb 27 on January 12, 2019, 07:55:56 AM
Does anyone here use Lyrica for pain? Does it help you sleep? How long does it last and does it leave you foggy the next day?? I am looking for a sleep med that helps a little with pain.

Have you talked to your doctor about an antidepressant. Zoloft at a lower dose is often used for pain of all kinds and is also used to aide in sleep. It can do the two things at once. It acts on the chemicals in the brain and has a proven track record for giving relief. Good luck. Irish

Lyrica is a drug that is similar to Gabapentin only more expensive. It was developed for neuropathy of feet/limbs in diabetics and is used for many kinds of neuropathy. Many people have good luck with it. I do not know what you mean by using it for the treatment of pain. There are many kinds of pain. Keep us posted. irish

I've heard they use Lyrica for fibromyalgia pain as well. I am going to ask for some.
