Thank you, Linda. That really helped validate some feelings and things I've gone through in the past several years, ok many years..... It helps so much to read it.
Linda, this is a marvelous article. It covers all the bases, I think.
Except maybe the incredible stress of dealing with doctors, hospitals, insurance companies and the staff people at all of the above. This is an entire category alone.
And perhaps also the multitude of problems that come with taking several medications, and the number it does on your body even when the medications actually work as expected. Many of us have unusual side effects, of course. And the stress of carrying out many 'treatments' several times a day. Just getting ready for bed can be a three-ring circus.
Number 17, the last item, deals with the difficult grief (anger, sorrow)we experience because of the ongoing losses we suffer. This is a continuous issue for most of us, never a 'once and done' exercise.
