Title: Salivary stem cells aging prematurely
Post by: Maria3667 on November 14, 2018, 05:20:08 PM
Oh no, our salivary stem cells are aging prematurely! And not responding to regeneration.... Another tip of the veil of our mysterious syndrome has been lifted...

If this is what it does to saliva producing glands, then I wonder if the same thing can be said for our poor parched eyes?

New study see here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29984480?dopt=Abstract

Thanks for posting, though in some ways I'd rather not know!

What a horrible word 'senescent' is! :'(
