Title: The importance of vitamin E
Post by: Maria3667 on September 12, 2018, 02:21:20 PM
Recently my eyes & mouth got much dryer.

In my desperation I added vitamin E back to my daily cocktail... Low and behold, it's working!

Draw back: most minimum dosages (like 200 IU capsules) are wayyy too high and cause AA in me (anxiety & acne). Thank goodness I've found a (cheap brand) low dose tablets which work just as well.

I never realized how important E is in the equation of EPA's and PUFA's, but am so glad my eye & mouth moisture have improved significantly!  ;D ;D ;D

I tried adding Vit. E in the past but got an allergic reaction to it  :(
Glad it's working for you- it's great to find relief!

Hi Sharon,

What kind of allergic reaction did you get?

@Bluegardenia:
PUFA = Purified Unsaturated Fatty Acids. EPA is a type of PUFA.
