I would like to know which is the difference between the effects of NAC and GUAIFENESINE, thanks

I know that everybody is taking or N acetylcysteine or Mucinex (that is guaifenesin) for thick mucous, please could somebody tell me if they noticed a difference between these meds? thanks

That is one I do not take. I take Acetyl-L-Carnitine. Acetylcysteine is very bad for my diabetes. It severely dehydrates me and could have killed me according to the ER doctor.

Joe I don't think that Acetyl L carnityne is for mucous but may be I am wrong
