Just a reminder for all of us to make reading posts.....also helps us write our posts also.
It works better to make small paragraphs. Reason being....so many of us have problems with our eyes and reading a long paragraph is extremely difficult. I know that I have to stop many times and move sentences so that I start a new paragraph with double spacing. I also know that there are times when I start to read a long paragraph and I just can't do it as my eyes don't track that well and get too tired to finish.
So this causes me to give up reading and move on to another post or even leave the forum. Youo might even find that you get more response to your posts if the paragraphs are smaller. I tried to divide up these paragraphs so that they are easier to read. Thank you for your patience. Irish
Amen.
Thank you Irish! I only have one eye and I have vision complications, sometimes I really struggle. Some websites are designed so poorly that I give up. And yes, long paragraphs confuse me and make me want to give up entirely.
Absolutely!~
Thanks, Irish.
I often have to force myself to wade into the forest of words in a post.
I wish it were not so, but it is. And I am an avid reader, read quickly and easily. So I KNOW that format is the key to true comprehension of the material presented.
If a writer must just let ideas flow as they come, it is easy enough to go back and re-read the post and then hit return after every three sentences, before hitting Post.

One trick for reading large blocks of print is, highlight a few sentences at a time as if to copy, this makes them more visible, then do another section, until you've read it all
