These are special eye drops made from your own blood so they are as close to your real tears as you can get in an eye drop and may even heal cornea damage.
Who has tried these eye drops and did they help you?
You are probably getting tired of me Sharon lol.
I have tried them over a three month period. They really did help with reducing the inflamed appearance of my eyes. Folks found out in the 80's that blood, once spun in a centrifuge has a biological composition very similar to the lacrimal glands own naturally produce tear...immunoglobulin's and all. So there is some healing factor. They did not make my eyes any more "wet" though than anything else out there. They do feel particularly good and soothing on application. They also have a tendency to want to leave "matter" in the corners of your eyes.
Tired of you markt? NEVER! LOL :D
The inflamed eyelids issue is what bothers me the most right now,
so I would be thrilled if it helped with that. The matter in the eye corners is annoying but would be worth it to reduce my eyelid swelling.
I also have the evaporative tear problem and no eye drop stays on my eye for long so
I probably wouldn't feel any moisture for long with them either, but I'll take what I can get for now!
There's always the risk with SS though that since our own blood contains autoantibodies the serum might not be helpful.
