If you could choose only 1:
Which supplement helps you the most with inflammatory joint pain?
Thanks! :)
Curcumin is anti inflammatory. Bosweilia tells your immune system not to attack your Arthritis. The two work well together.
Thanks Joe, I'm taking a combo of Boswellia and Curcumin from NOW but it's not enough.
What dosage do you recommend?
High dose fish-oil. I've had slightly swollen salivary glands and joints in feet for few months so I'm going to try it. 3-5 grams of EPA+DHA and 1g curcumin with hydroxychloroquine.
Meaningful anti-inflammatory effect starts from 2-3 grams of combined EPA and DHA per day and even higher amounts are used in studies. There is evidence that fish-oil may be beneficial especially for people with RA and probably other inflammatory diseases. Decreases in pro-inflammatory cytokines, swollen/tender joints and pain etc. The effect is probably small though.

NatureWise curcumin 2250 mgs, one capsule in the morning and another in the evening.
NOW Curcumin and Carlson's Super Gems fish oil.
I also take a good fish oil supplement called SPM Active, L glutathionne and Quercetin with Bromelain. I recently switched to this fish oil from Maxi Tears. I kept with it b/c it seemed to help much better with the brain fog. It's very pricey though.... Also, 200 mgs of plaquenil per day.....
Fish Oil with combined EPA+DHA
Looks like everyone is in agreement regarding the Curcumin and Fish Oil.
What would be the optimal dosage for inflammation?
I take two 650 mg curcumin daily. If your stomach can handle it, you can take it 3 times a day. I also take 2 fish oil gels twice a day.
