Title: Increase in Imuran is helping
Post by: SjoGirl on April 19, 2018, 01:56:28 PM
I had a terrible flare working up from the end of last year through February. I was in excruciating pain, fingers and feet were swelling, couldn't sleep, moody, etc. I am very pleased to report that a slight increase in my Imuran, from 50 mg per day to 75 mg per day and addition of just 100 mg of Gabapentin a day has changed my life.

I sleep like a baby most nights and can stay awake all day and into the evening. I experience far less pain, some days none (I forgot what it felt like to not be in pain). I feel like I have my life back. Now, fingers crossed that this lasts for a while.

Woo hoo!

That is awesome news!  Congrats.  It is always great to hear good news and improvement in symptoms. Hope it continues for you.

Sjo girl, sorry if I've already asked this bit are you sero neg? Are you on anything else alongside Imuran?
I'm on infliximab for my colitis and ank spond. Rheum suggested also taking cellcept as sjogrens is out of control. I'm concerned about such heavy immune suppression but feel I can't do nothing
