Please pray or send good thoughts that my brother finds his way to feel good once again. He is in the hospital in a coma with pneumonia and has coded once so far.
He has diabetes and has lost both of his lower legs and the stump of one is severely infected. He had gone to the hospital about the leg when he coded and they discover the pneumonia which is
quite serious.
He is on a ventilator and and it will take a couple of days to get the results of the lung biopsy back. Sometimes hippa is great. This is not one of those times.

My bothers BO is down from 200 over I can not remember what but I think the top number is now 180.

Thank you all for helping. My computer lost a thread I wrote and in fact has lost a couple of threads. Then this one popped back up. I'm beginning to think this computer is jinxed.
My brother was doing much better yesterday and had responded to commands and I can't remember what all was going right but today everything turned around and he seems to be really in
bad shape.
Without writing a book, I suggest that you all check documents and maybe even have copies with you of who can help, has POA and such. I had been somehow removed from anything on my brothers medical record. You might not want someone claiming POA.
I am hoping for better news tomorrow as we are trying to time going out and since I'm in a flare it is making things hard and I know I don't have the brain power to make the best decisions but that has been basically taken over by someone who is quite familiar with my brother and in fact the doctor has been working with him since the beginning. He really is the one who should have POA anyway. I have yet to even talk with the doctor.
Again, thank you all, and please keep praying for whatever is best for him. I'm so glad this board is here and for the support you have given me. i can't say how much that has helped me.
For all who are not doing well I send prayers. And hug a nurse. They can be the difference in how things turn out.
