Title: Rebound dryness?
Post by: Sharon on November 29, 2017, 12:22:39 PM
I finally managed to try Evoxac (brand name).
I had high hopes for it.
It ended up modestly increasing saliva for a few hours but not helping any with tears.
However, hours afterwards my dryness increased drastically
and remained at its worst for a day and a half.
Has this happened to anybody else after taking Evoxac? A sort of "rebound dryness"?  ???

I get some rebound dryness buy get a very large benefit from taking exovac. I have difficulty swallowing food or maintaining conversation without exovac due to dryness.

Did you stop taking it for some reason?  Normally you will get into a bit of a rhythm after taking it for a while and won't get the severe rebound dryness.

Yes Kristian, I only took it for 2 days since I only have enough Evoxac
for a trial. It's not readily available where I live so I wanted to do a trial before
going through all the channels to import it.
When I stopped it after 2 days the dryness became worse than ever for about a day and a half.
I was also disappointed it didn't increase my tears at all.
