:) :) :)
Interesting and hopeful, thanks for sharing Sharon!
Gladly. Hope is important!
Hi Sharon,
Interesting study!
But I wonder if it's really targeting our most prominent symptoms such as dry mouth & eyes, because the study claims:
"According to Fisher, score changes reflected improvements in swollen glands, night sweats, fevers, and swollen and painful joints. "These results are fascinating," he says."
Sure they are fascinating, but could also be symptomatic of dozens of other diseases. I for one, don't typically suffer from night sweats, fevers and swollen joints.... My main problem is oral and ocular dryness.
Anyhow, any study moving closer towards understanding the complications of AI-diseases could eventually benefit us... It's good to have hope.
Thanks for sharing :)
Hi Maria, I also found it strange they didn't mention sicca symptoms in the study.
However, I do get everything else they mentioned and would love to get any relief I can from any symptom possible. Perhaps sicca relief will be mentioned in their future studies.
There are a variety of patterns to this disease. My worst conditions are the fatigue, pain, brain fog, and neuro damage. So this is a candidate for my needs, if it proves to be useful. I wouldn't discard it if it didn't solve sicca.
Same here warmwaters
Exciting!
If they can influence the antibodies they indicate the dryness will be decreased or stopped. Every single symptom he mentioned is part of the autoimmune attack on the body in Sjogrens. There are also a whole bunch more symptoms that many patients may not experience. If they can even scratch the surface in the qwest for cure in Sjogrens it will affect every other autoimmune disease study in one way or another, not to mention cure. The march towards cure is proceding and getting closes. irish
