My rheumatologist ran a panel that was called "Early Sjogrens Syndrome Profile"
Everything came back negative except for the....
Carbonic Anhydrases IV IGG Antibodies and the Carbonic Anhydrases IV IGM Antibodies
They both came back high/positive
My doctor said that means I have Sjogrens but the more I read it looks like it's not a definite diagnosis and could mean other things.
Can anyone give me any thoughts on this?
Thank you!!
Cathy
If you do not think your doctor is correct get a second opinion. Many people are sero negative and it is other tests...like the Schemers test for dry eyes and a lip biopsy for the presence of lymphocytes that seal the deal. How do you feel?
