My Biotene toothpaste doesn't seem to be as effective as it was a few years ago. And I've noticed that originally it said on the box that it was for "dry mouth." Now it says something in the wording about sensitivity and/or ph balance etc. I've checked several boxes and several stores. All the same. No mention of dry mouth. You can purchase the separate smaller tub of Biotene gel for dry mouth that is NOT a toothpaste. This product is good and I'm using it and am grateful for it.
Does anyone happen to know why the toothpaste no longer states it is for "dry mouth?"
They were making a claim that it would help dry mouth. The FDA is pretty strict about claims.
