Title: Been a while - added diagnosis
Post by: SjoGirl on September 25, 2017, 05:11:40 PM
It's been a long time since I've been on this group. I've been busy with work and family members who have been ill.

I had a good check up visit today in which he confirmed his belief that I have sero-negative RA in addition to SjS. The RA popped up earlier this year and is supported by ultrasounds of my hands and symptoms (pain, swelling, redness in joints). He started me on Immuran in March and it's working beautifully.

He's also referring me to a neurosurgeon so I can find if my degenerative disc disease could be corrected with surgery. I've been dealing with DDD for 10 years and am hopeful surgery will help if I am a candidate.

Feeling much better and am hoping it lasts.

Hi  :)

Good to see you. You've obviously had a lot on your plate - and stress is not our friend.

Glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better at the moment. hope you are suitable for surgery. Anything that reduces pain has got to be good!

Take care - Scottie  :)
