Hope everyone has had or is having a good holiday wherever you are. So I've had this internal itching sensation in the middle area of my back right under my left shoulder blade. It's hard to reach but when I do no scratching relieves it. It took me a minute to realize it was probably a new sensory symptom. My usual parasthesias had waned away and then this localized itch appeared. Sure enough, I looked it up online and found the name for it- notalgia parasthetica. The description fit my symptoms exactly. Another SS sensory complication I presume? 2016 has been a very rough year:(
Ive learned I get so many new and unexplained things pop up all the time, I just try and contribute it to autoimmune. I know the docs wont be able to give me answers, so Im learning to accept it.
I have the neuropathy, skin itching, weird twitching, etc all the time. Im sure its the Sjogrens and docs said hormones too.
(Im in menopause).
hope you can find some answers or relief

Wal, Please talk to you MD or Cardiologist about this. It sounds similar to my heart symptoms before a stent is placed.
Hi Joe, I hope it's not my heart. I'm only 37!
Gursie, I seriously wonder if I'm going through some kind of early menopause. I swear there's a hormonal component to my issues. I just don't know how to identify what kind of impact it's having.
