Title: Single dose drops question
Post by: Wal on July 11, 2016, 02:49:20 AM
So I just bought the Bausch and Lomb Soothe drops. They feel great! However, they are in single dose drops (probably due to no preservatives) I feel kind of bad that I've got to throw away the villager using because there are still so many drops left and the stuff is a little pricey. Does anyone on here reuse? I'm not sure how I would save it....

Yes I reuse them. I stand them up in a little cup in the refrigerator and use them within a few hours. I also did this with Restasis which my doctor suggested.

I do that too.  I have a tiny "ER SjS bag" with my Alcon Naturale Free vials, Ayr, Xylimelts, emergency cortisone eye drops, Biotene gel, Nystatin cream, --you get the idea.  If I reach in my bag and find an opened vial...and I can't remember when I last used it (like over two days) I throw it away.  Restasis comes with instructions to keep refrigerated.  I think the reason you should throw away a vial used once is if you touch your eye.  YOUR drops may advise to throw away immediately after use.  If so, follow those directions.
