I have really been hit with a bad flare over the past few days. Joint pain every where, and at times barely able to walk due to pain in top of leg joints. I have very painful ulcers inside both cheeks. Pain in ears, pain throughout my leg muscles, and burning skin on face. Taking meds for severe kidney infection, and low white cell count. I too am falling apart.

It sounds like you need a few ((((Hugs )))) first. Second "Don't Panic" - Panic / Anxiety with make the pain worse. You may have some other things going on so have you spoken with your health care professional?
I hope you feel better soon (((Hugs))).
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, susan.
I agree with Joe, if you don't already have things that are helping you, contact your doctor to see if s/he doctor can help with any of your symptoms. For the mouth sores, ask about a prescription for Mary's Magic Mouthwash or look online for recipes to make it at home. Maybe you already have the ingredients. Also, folic acid or B12 supplements are good for preventing and treating canker sores.
I hope your flare goes away soon.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a time. I just did some reviewal of lupus and your sound like a lupus flare to me. But then don't take me too seriously cause your have the Sjogrens also. Who know with these autoimmune diseases. Just rest and let your doc know how you are feeling cause maybe there is something they can give you to help with comfort. Hugs, Irish
Thanks all. None will be back in now until Monday. I see myself there on Monday the way I feel right now. The worst I am having right now is to do with my right ear, but not sure what it is. It doesn't hurt just to press on my ear, or ache in the way it use to years ago, but when I swallow piercing pain is around down under my neck on that side. My throat might be red, but no tonsil pain or actual throat pain, but that same piercing pain when I swallow down that side in my neck under that ear.
I am running the low grade fever, and tonight it hurts some up into that side eye, and even that side of forehead.

Oh, Susan, this sounds awful. Could your face pain be related to trigeminal nerve pain? So sorry this is over the Easter weekend too.
Have you ever had a parotid gland infection?? Everything always comes in twos or threes. Maybe some warm packs to that side of your face would help. Good luck. Irish
Thank you Sunflower for your sweet kindness.
Irish I don't know if I have, maybe this time I do. If this is what one feels like, I will never forget, and will know next time for sure.
Even though it is the Easter Weekend, we have planned to be with other family over at the nursing home with my dear dad tomorrow, and bringing food, drinks, and one of my sisters is bringing a cake so no matter how bad I feel, I will be there. He is getting weaker all the time, but it's a slow process. I will get better, and want these special memories with dad.
