Hi :)
My oldest son is now in his mid thirties. He married an American lass and lives in MO. About 6 years ago he collapsed, was hospitalized and was dxd with Crohn's disease.
Today he ran the Cowbell Marathon. He has worked so hard to get fit enough to run it. His wife and his 5 year old son were his support team.
I don't know if he will ever run another one. I think he may stick to shorter distances. I'm sure he will keep running for awhile.
He's changed his diet, changed his life style and concentrated on what he can do.
Just wanted to share.
Take care - Scottie :)
Yea!
Oh Scottie,
Congrats to you both! How nice that he worked so hard to achieve that goal. I know you are proud of him, and rightly so.
I hope that he continues to stay healthy.

Wow, What an accomplishment. Also goes to prove that autoimmune disease runs in families. Glad to hear that he is doing well. Irish
That's fantastic Scottie - just shows how he has overcome such a debilitating condition with sheer willpower.
Well done that man!
BTW can't believe your first grandson is already 5! Where did that time go?

That is quite an accomplishment! Glad to hear he is taking care of his health.
What a wonderful achievement Scottie.
He deserves a proud mom! (We are proud for you, Scottie!)
