Please pray for my precious dog Buddy. He is dying, and it is killing me too.
Thank you,
susanep
Dear Susan and Buddy,
I know how much you love each other, and that love is forever. I am praying for you to feel peace and comfort.
(((@@@Dear creator, please send your healing love to susenep. Comfort her during this time. Thank you.@@@)))
Oh Susan,
I am so sorry. We lost our little Wags of 19 years, a year ago. It was devastating to me. I miss her every single day. She was such a comfort to me and a beloved family member.
I hope that Buddy will not suffer. I hope that your memories will be a huge comfort to you.
Thinking of you.

Thank you so much everyone. It is so difficult when we love our fur babies. They really do become family, because they are.

Susan, I am so sorry to hear about Buddy. Please take care of yourself.
Susan and hubby, I am so sorry about the loss of your dog who was your best friend. I am so sorry but am also happy that the dog didn't have to suffer for too long. Irish
Susan
Just seen your news. So, Buddy is at rest now and, when you are ready, you will be able to remember all the good times you had with him - and he with you. He will know that he was a very much loved fur baby.
Thinking about you and your hubby.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Susan. Pets are such a special part of our lives.
((((( Buddy, Susan and husband )))))
When we adopt a new family member we bond with them. Over the years we share love with them and they with us. When they leave us they take a piece of our heart with them. We grieve for the loss of them. For me it took several years before I had healed my grief enough to adopt again. I still think of those that I have lost with memories of good times as I enjoy the bond with our new adoption.
May you find piece with your loss, and find new bonds of love.
Susan,
I am sorry to learn of Buddy's passing. I know how difficult this period of time is for you.
You are both in my thoughts.

Thank you everyone.
A little story about Buddy. About 7 years ago, buddy had went to the top of the hill behind our house which is a wooded area, but he heard another dog, and you know how they can be.
Well, a man with a not good reputation I guess seen him, and shot him in the head. I didn't think we would see Buddy again. After two weeks of not seeing him in December he comes wobbling one night 2 weeks before Christmas next to the front of our house. I just happened to go out to check on one of the other dogs to come and get their food.
I ran in the house, and told my husband to come out on the porch. He seen him, and rushed outside to pick him up in his arms. We gave him water, food, (he was so skinny, and wobbly) We wrapped him up warm and hugged on him. The next morning early my husband took him to the vet.
I was working then so was at school. The vet x-rayed him, and said their was like buck shot or whatever you call it through out his head. He said, he shouldn't even be alive right now. My husband told him I prayed for him from the day he was missing until he came back. The vet said, that is the only reason he is here. He was left blind though.
That little boy learned to handle all stairs etc. and run like the rest even though he was blind. So we feel like we were blessed to have him that many more years. We called him our Christmas Miracle. :)

Thank you for the heartwarming story about Buddy. What a very special guy! And yet another uplifting tale about the power of prayer.
What a champion Buddy was! What a heart! And so strong and smart. He knew if he could just find his way home, you would love and care for him forever. You are all champions in my book. Sending thoughts and prayers.

Susan, I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like Buddy hit the jackpot when you found him. I am sure you feel the same about him.
We lost one of our dogs at the end of June and I thought my heart was going to break in two. He was a rescue and I feel like we chose each other. We only had him for 9 years and I feel like it just wasn't long enough. His breed usually is a long lived breed too but he got cancer. It was devastating. I think I am finally getting better but my depression got worse for a while.
I hope we'll all see our beloved pets again someday.
Take care of yourself right now.
