Merry Christmas Ya'll....as we say here in Texas. I have baked pies today...and have laughed when I recall how easy this task was at earlier times in my life. But hey..not complaining. Glad I can still bake! Next comes my one vegetable contribution...and I am ready for my Christmas! THEN I REMEMBERED YOU ALL. Hope you all have Merry whatever it is you celebrate!! First time in two years I will be 'in' Christmas.. off to be with cousin and then further north for a few days of R&R visiting brother-in-law.
We have a local Creamery so picked up their more unusual ice cream flavors.. amaretto toasted almond, etc and a mascarpone cheesecake to take.

I am home, had Christmas Eve with our new 'blended' family in Raleigh. This was the gift that we had because we returned early!
AND, we will have our son and 'wife-to-be' for Christmas Day with us, as well. They were going to be alone, and now, they will be with us.
The best Christmas gift I have this year is the exchange for a difficult daughter-in-law to the most amazing and wonderful woman who loves my son and brings an amazing new granddaughter to our family. What more could I have asked for, and I didn't even ask!
I am constantly amazed at what life brings my way.
And I am completely and entirely thankful for all of you, my Sjogren's Angels.
