Hi All
I've not visited for ages.........
I'm blown away with trialling the Theraspecs FL 41 tinted glasses to wear over my prescription glasses indoors (driving/outside) after using them at work this past week & at home on holidays the week before.
Been focusing READING the computer etc at work, fluro lights not a problem. My office work environment is now wonderful without all the glare!
Finding I'm using less of the Vision Clarity eye drops I use also.
Just love my new "SUNSET" world wearing the Theraspecs day & night at home & work.
Wish I'd known about the specs 14 yrs ago instead of suffering misery all these years.
Can also purchase Outdoor Over RX Theraspecs for being out in the sunshine if I wish (darker tinting). Prescription Theraspecs are available also which means I wouldn't be wearing 2 pairs of glasses at once.
The Theraspecs are designed for migraine sufferers & people with Sjogren's & other dry eye conditions are benefiting glare wise also.
Now I'm going to be assessed for laser treatment in a couple of weeks so I hopefully won't need prescription glasses & can just wear tinted theraspecs. Really hoping I can have laser treatment.
Couldn't help share my happiness with you all & hope some of you will be able to share my experience. :)
Regards to all of you fellow sufferers

Hmmm, I wonder if my low cost high definition sun glasses may help. I use the for driving during daylite hours.

Thanks for the info! I checked out the website and am going to look into purchasing; I have suffered from migraines/pain around the eyes for years so this may be a prayer answered...

Might be worth a try, Joe. The FL 41 tint does seem special to me though.
Your welcome for the info Monica. Sounds like the theraspecs would help with your migraines, supposed to bring relief. I definitely recommend the specs for dry eyes if you have them. I'd like to have the wraps.
I'm so excited about my new "sunset" world actually.

Sometimes laser surgery makes dry eyes worse. If you have sensitive dry eyes to begin with, you may not be a good "candidate." Make sure your physician knows about Sjogren's and has your best interests as top priority.

Thank you for the info on Theraspecs. I did some research, and found two companies that make the FL 41 lesnes, Theraspecs and AxonOptics.
I decided to go with AxonOptics and ordered their CoverRx Large in the Outdoor Tint for my every day glasses. And, I got the Premium Lens Coating: Anti-Glare Anti-Smudge Coating.
Because they are a large size, it may take them a week to produce the lens. I?m so excited, I think this will really help me. If they do, I will order a pair in a smaller frame with the indoor tint for my computer glasses.
The darkest lens they have for outdoor is a polarized lens. They caution that, it can make some people sick. They have a transition lens, that adapts to lighter and darker environments.

Also, I found information on Irlen Syndrome. I wonder, if maybe I have this. People with TBI, Autism and ADHD can have it.

Good you found the 2 companies.
I've found a couple of local optometrists here in Aus land that do the FL41 tinting also.
Worth checking into things!
