The left corner of my mouth and slightly beyond is tingling and a little numb. Tonight I ate at a friend's house, all foods I had had before (pork loins with bacon and pepper, apples with cinnamon, potatoes). She did give me a sip of a healthy drink she makes using water, stevia, apple cider vinegar (with "the mother"), and ground ginger. It was too tart for my glands (felt like eating a sour pickle). Any ideas of the possible cause of the tingling??
Well, lots of possibilities of course.
For me, tingling and numbness in my tongue, lips and face are 'probably' small fiber neuropathy.
This is nerve damage in the skin. I also have neuropathy in the major nerves in my legs, and also a sort of neuropathy in my heart, bowel, and bladder. so I get dizzy when I stand up and have problems with my bladder (urgency and then difficult peeing, and constipation and stuff).
Look up small fiber neuropathy.
I don't think it's related to your food.
Maybe it will just go away. that's what I'm always hoping for! 8)

As mentioned in other posts, I do deal with periphreal neuropathy...so it sounds reasonable. Thanks for the reassurance--I was freaking out a little, thinking food allergy. Of course, dwelling on it doesn't help ;-)
Hmmm...I deal with urgency, too. I don't "go" too much relative to my fluid intake, but when I have to go, get outta my way!!
