Hi guys 'n girls,
Setting up a poll is not so easy, due to the limited amount of options.
In this poll I'm trying to find out if any type of drink is helpful for our symptoms. I've tried to include a wide variety of options, please forgive me if I've forgotten some.
For me, green tea helps a little against dry mouth & decreases joint stiffness. I also find strawberry juice (pure, without sugar) helps increase saliva, especially right after I've taken a Salagen tablet.
Curious to learn from you!
Carrot juice
Plain water. Staying hyrdrated makes a big difference.
Sobe water. Made with all natural ingredients, and also has a healthy dose of b vitamins to boot. I drink at least one a day!
tart cherry juice (not made from concentrate), carrot juice, coconut milk, WATER
Water like everyone else said. Amanda turned me on to the tart cherry juice which is supposed to be great for us. Haven't drank enough to see anything yet, but I love how it tastes!
Water
Sparkling water 8)
Water, ph 7.9
Good old water
water
Not to be boring, but water :)
I find a lemon and ginger infusion helpful.

Ihavent tried that but hot water and lemon soothe me when I dont have mouth ulcers.
There is a company that does specialist 'teas' - without the tea and I buy their ginger and lemon infusion. I've read that both lemons and ginger are saliva stimulants.

Oh I didnt know ginger was, I have to try this.
Again, water.
Also club soda. Helps with muscle issues by replenishing electrolytes.
Green tea, blueberry and cherry and blackberry juice. I am starting to use coconut water now and we will see how that goes.
Seltzer with lemon helps stimulate the glands. There was a study I believe from japan that said green tea may be protective of salivary glands.
seltzer water stimulates saliva, as do acidic drinks - water with lemon, soda (though I don't recommend that), oj.
warm water or tea are good for dry cough.
Peppermint or ginger tea for an upset stomach.
Nothing helping with over all symptoms.
Sitting here drinking seltzer water with lemon, which helps with digestion and salivation.
But I voted for green tea because that gets me moving in the morning, helps with brain fog.
Lemon water is my go to drink. It has that twang to make your mouth pucker up a bit. But I can't say it's a panacea.
Coffee helps me concentrate, also lots of water.
H2O does it and its refreshing with cucumber and lemon slices steeped in the pitcher.
Water.
I drink any and everything, really.
Nothing improves me, but I get relief from liquids in general.
Hugs, Elaine
