Title: How to Help in times of Loss
Post by: Carolina on January 21, 2014, 05:16:50 AM
Dearest Angels,

This article neatly sums up ways in which to be present to those who are in grief.

And I have to say that most of us are in grief over our losses due to our chronic illness.

Absolutely wonderful article!!  A friend of mine's mother died this week and this will truly help me to say and do the proper things to help her.  I am going to print it and keep it for future reference.

Thanks,

Liz D.

Thank you for sharing this article on here. I subscribe to the NYT and read this article this morning. I agree that it is a very helpful list to guide anyone communicating with the grieving. I plan to use it during a workshop I'm teaching for caregivers this weekend.
