This article really hits home for me. I have not yet mastered the art of letting go! Good reminder to change my thinking and goals!

Thanks for posting,

The article is very on target.

The art of letting go requires an entire adjustment of my mindset.  It means accepting so many things in my life that I cannot control.

I never did make New Year's Resolutions, so that part's easy.

It is the voice that whispers that I 'should be doing something important', that says 'you're not good enough', and also says "you are on the brink of disaster and have to worry all the time!".

That voice has to be quieted, and most of the time I forget that I"m even listening to it!

And of course, I am listening to it, and feeling bad.  I have to let go of doing things that stress me, and I have to let go of THINKING THINGS THAT STRESS ME.

That's the trickiest part, I've found.

We are all good enough this year, and will be good enough in the year to come.   Seeing the beauty in my messy house, my imperfect family, a day that is cloudy when I want sun, those are my goals.

Hugs, Elaine
