Title: December Birthdays / Anniversaries
Post by: Bucky on November 30, 2013, 09:38:58 AM
Tomorrow is December!!!  WOW! I've heard many people say how quickly this year has flown by, myself included.  I can't believe it's the last month of 2013 already!

To all those who celebrate a birthday or anniversary in the month of December, we'd like to celebrate the occasion with you - so, if you want, tell us the date of your celebration.

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to our members who celebrate the occasion in December.

I'm always glad to have a celebration that involves cake and/or presents!   :D

HI

I am a December baby.

My birthday is December 24th....Christmas Eve.

My great grandmother was born December 25th!!!  Christmas Day.

I can't say that I enjoyed it being that day.

Your B-day is overlooked by the hub-bub of the Holiday.

When your a kid, your b-day occurs over "Christmas break" ...no one knew it.

Your b-day cake has Christmas theme to it and your b-day gifts are wrapped in Christmas themed paper.

Oh well....now that I am "old" none of that matters too me.

ho-ho-ho

Happy B'Day to be..

Christmas Eve...Did your parents give you a Christmas, Holiday name?
Friend named their little girl "Noel"..

Know what you mean about holidays...I was born on a day when school used to be off...

Happy Belated Birthday, Ailsa!!   ;D

I had your b-day on my list from years past, but I don't usually say anything on here, until the person mentions it.

I hope you had a great birthday day.  Did you do anything special for the occasion?

Aww, thankyou Bucky!  It was on a Tuesday and was a really busy school day, but last weekend a friend and I went to a lovely little barn cottage.  we did some Xmas shopping and lots of tea and reading so it was very relaxing.  Thankyou for asking - you are always so thoughtful of others  x Ailsa

HaPpY BiRtHdAy today to Carebear!   ;D

Are you doing anything special to celebrate your special day?

With your birthday so close to Christmas, do people give you "combination" gifts?  My sister, whose birthday was yesterday, always hated getting combination gifts.

Enjoy your special day!!

Happy Birthday and anniversary to everyone! Love December!  Kathy, 38 years is something to be proud of! Lord belss you and your husband!

December is a big month for us! Our oldest son's birthday is on the 4th, niece on the 6th, mom on the 12th, 4th  anniversary of my Dad's passing on the 13th and my husband and I celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary on the 31st... I love December but I also love that January is slow so that we can catch our breath! =)

Thank you, Bucky.   We had a lovely family get together on the weekend for my birthday.  Pizza, cupcakes, and board games!  I introduced Sorry to my granddaughters, and they love it.  Hard to believe that was me fifty years ago.   :D

I have always had a separate celebration for my birthday, even now.  My kids seemed horrified last year when I suggested I just open my birthday gifts on Christmas day.  I was trying go let them know that birthdays were no longer important to me but they didn't take the hint. ;)

To everyone else celebrating milestones in December, congratulations to you.

On the 29th, we mark the third anniversary of my dear Dad's  passing.  Some sadness, mixed in with much joy and thankfulness.  Miss you, Dad!

Happy Birthday today to eye2dry!   :D

Do you get your own day to celebrate or does it end up being a combination celebration?

It's tough when a birthday is so close to Christmas.

Enjoy your special day.

Happy Birthday to Carebear and Sjoamy and many congratulations on your wedding anniversary.

Our anniversary was nice. We had a meal out with out three boys and four of our grandchildren, together with my mum. Everyone was well behaved, and even the two d-i-ls who don't get on, glared at each other, rather than arguing.

Life is good.
