Hi everyone!! I havent been on in a while and thought I would just check in. Everything has beed reasonably well for me. I still have my aches and pains, sometimes a few extra. Dr. added gabapentin 300mg at bedtime . it has helped the pain but doesnt help the sleep. I sleep the sleep of the dead and still do not feel rested in the morning and some nights i toss & turn. My mornings are still rough but with the later work shift now I do alot better. I have gained 40lbs with the cymbalta and the synthroid. I have a lap band so I went to see the dr and had a band fill done today. Hopefully I will see some weight loss. Only time will tell. I hope all is as well as can be with you all. I am so looking forward to the end of 2014 and possibly retirement (if finances allow) I am so tired of this working everyday. Its getting old and so am I 8) . got to go for now. its raining here now so I want to get home and crawl into my nice clean bed. Best to everyone. :)
hello bdnews.
Yes, I understand the sleeping and sleeping and never feeling rested when you do get up.
I also have a hard time drifting off to sleep at night but when I do, I stay asleep.
I too take Cymbalta, I feel it has helped with my feet , hand and knee pain.
Being able to retire at the end of next year sounds wonderful for you, I hope you are able to do it.
I am 55 and hope to be able to work until I am at least 62.
Working part-time, interacting with people, making decisions , etc....I think helps control
my brain fog from getting the better of me.
Being able to go to bed when it's raining out is wonderful.
take care,

Has your doc considered doing a sleep study on you? To rule out sleep apnea?
