Title: Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians in the forum!!
Post by: Deb on October 10, 2013, 11:27:13 PM
After a hard two weeks of infections, rude doctors, root canals, 6hr infusion, cold wet weather I am off to see good friends and enjoy some fun, food and fine wine.  I have to see my Rheumy on Tuesday and he just happens to be in the same area!!  It is a four hour drive but so looking forward to it...the friends not the doctor appt.  So I hope you all have a great weekend and eat lots of turkey!!

Happy Thanksgiving Deb,
We have company arriving in 10 hours and I just had my flu shot. My palpitations are worse (TSH above normal limit) and doc won't do new blood test for 6 weeks. AND we found feral cats moved into our yard this week so a few extra unscheduled trips to Humane Society are in order.

Good thing kids are older and can help cook. I'm exhausted already and no one is even here yet! Daughter's new boyfriend was great at Easter - offering to vacuum, do dishes, grandma sit etc.

Got to go take kitty that we caught last night in to the HS for a good kitty Thanksgiving dinner!

Yeah!  Thanksgiving dinner, here we come!

This year I am serving a fresh turkey, raised at my good pal's farm.  I pick "her" up tomorrow.  My granddaughter wanted to know the turkey's name, and I lovingly explained that you never name your dinner.   ;)

To all my fellow Canucks, enjoy your day.
