Survey: Single Men Change Their Bed Sheets How Often?!

The study was way off! You change your sheets a month after you realize that it is in shreds.
Long ago, I had a housemate who changed his sheets on Joe's schedule. He was an intellectual and an artist; he rarely went outside or got out of his chair. He explained, "Why wash them? The only thing they gather is dust".
I don't have time right now at this moment to read but this caught my eye.
The answer is ........Never, ever.
without a mommy, girlfriend or wife it just wouldn't be done.

My husband's college roommate said that they would vacuum their floor when people started admiring their carpet.
They didn't have a carpet.

This study is dead on. I have four brothers, dad, two sons, and a SO to prove it. Dirty sheets don't bother them one bit.
Saw a college guy's bed once that should have been swept with a broom.
That was a shock.
But in the olden days, people had trap doors in their long john's cause they wore them ALL WINTER.
Yep, different approaches.
We would faint from the smell of most people from historical times.

I have a different problem with my teenage son. I have to keep telling him to keep putting the sheets back on his bed. He would rather sleep on the mattress! Could be he is trying to save them from getting dirty or could be he is sensitive to something in the fabric? He uses the same detergent for his clothes and sheets so that can't be it. Maybe I should get him silk sheets!
Anyone ever encounter this?
Whew sounds like a phase thank goodness. I wasn't sure what else to think or do. He hates when I come into his room and the first thing I say is "why aren't your sheets on the bed?".
Frustrating for both of us.
