Title: perimenopause?
Post by: engy on August 08, 2013, 02:15:47 PM
I have been having perimenopause symptoms like waking at night & hot flashes. I realize this could also be from my AI diseases too though. Last month my period only lasted 4 days (instead of the 7 days it has always been).  Now my period is 4 days late. I have never had a late period. I know I am not pregnant.

Is this normal perimenopause? Will my AI diseases bring it sooner?

I just saw my OBGYN in Feb. and all was normal. I go see my new primary care doctor in 2 weeks (my previous fabulous one moved to Florida :( so I will bring it up with her.

I was just wondering if others started menopause early or peri. I am 39.

When I broke my leg they put me in room 666. I went down hill until I was out of the hospital and into the nursing home.

While I may be hormonal and AB normal, I am not peri or in menopause.

I sure did. Started at 35, finished at 40. You can have ovarian antibodies. You need blood tests.
