Title: A really, terribly, awfully lousy day
Post by: slccom on July 09, 2013, 09:20:28 PM
Our littlest, most adorable malti-poo died this morning. I think he had a stroke, and he went home very suddenly. I guess he wanted to go play with his brother in heaven.

So, if you have any girl dogs on the Rainbow Bridge, warn them.

:'(

My sympathy for your loss. Our fur babies are family and I believe they watch over us when they cross that Bridge.

May your memories bring you comfort.

((Sharon)) - I'm sorry about your little malti-poo.

I know tonight your heart is heavy. Take time to grieve for your beloved pet and may it comfort you to know, that I'm sure he knew, how much he was loved and cared for.

Hugs,
Bucky

I'm so sorry - animals are family just as much as humans. What an awful loss!  :-[

Dear Sharon:

My heart goes out to you, I've had many beloved pets over the years and the pain of losing them is always excruciating.

So, I'm sending up positive thoughts for you and your little Malti-poo today, and also sending mental vibes to my 4 girls who are over Rainbow's Bridge to let them know that one big ladies man is on the way.

Bless you,

Daisy

Oh dear, Sharon,

So hard, and no warning.  Tho' warning doesn't help much either, does it.

Our fur babies are so comforting and entertaining.

I can't imagine life without them.

Hugs

Elaine

My heartfelt sympathies go to you.  Our fur babies are like children to me.  I have many over at the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is hard to not have them around. Our big white cat Charlie died a couple of weeks ago. Please know that we who love our fur babies do understand your pain.

Hug,
susanep :)

You've suffered a lot of loss recently Sharon.  Two little fellas in a such a short period of time.  I understand.  I can't think of anything else to say.  Just that I understand.

Sharon,

I'm so sorry for your loss  :'(  During the last eleven years I've lost three dogs and I still miss each one of them!

And lately I've been off of the board because I unexpectedly found out that my horsie needs to be put down, so I've been arranging things for that and spending the last few weeks with her. Her last day will be July 31st and I know it'll nearly kill both me and my girls :(

Pets bring so much joy, but each time losing them makes me wonder if it's worth all the sorrow and pain after all...

I am so sorry eija! My heart goes out to you. I am struggling with this decision now. My little Lucy is 12 and had surgery for cancer 3 yrs ago. For the last 2 months she has periods where I have to coax her to eat and she is having trouble walking. I know her time is coming and I cry just thinking of it. Her mate, Sam is 9 and he has been having health issues.

My fur babies r my kids and it is painful to think of life without them.

Eija, I'm so sorry. You will treasure this time together one day, but it is surely a bittersweet time. My sister-in-law lost her horse that she had for 20 years.

Thanks, everyone. I knew that Scamp was leaving for a couple of months, somehow. He was neutered, but he forgot...
