I got married on Dominion Day so I would remember it. I thought the term Dominion was appropriate. Then the name was changed to Canada Day. So Happy Canada Day to my friends that are north of the US border. It is my 41st wedding anniversary today. After 41 years you would think we would have something special planned. I will have to wait for my wife to wake up so I can find out if we have something special planned.
I think her plans are to start making wild rice stew and beef stew for 7000 for three days. She is planning one gallon per hour for 8 hours for three days. She is doing all of the prep work. Others will be warming it up to serve it.

I grilled some stakes for supper. She cooked the Wild Rice Stew until about 2 am. She has a bit more to cook. Today she starts on the Beef Stew. 15 Gallons of each will be frozen before the event.
