I'm planning to spend some time on a cruise ship in a few weeks. Can you recommend something non-drying for motion sickness? (Ginger doesn't work for me.) Thanks!
Cheryl
Look up reflexology or acupressure for motion sickness. It does work and have used it to reduce a panic attack that one passenger was having on a rough flight over water. I have also used it for myself on a rough boat ride.
I've used those wrist bands. They work well but don't look too beautiful on formal nights!

Years ago I used a patch you put behind your ear and it last for three days, sorry I forgot the name, ask your doc for Rex.

Cheryl, I have some of those wrist bands --- let's do lunch soon and I'll pass them over to you!
I've also used those behind-the-ear patches. My family doctor says that, even though the instructions say you aren't supposed to cut them, you can. He said his wife always cuts hers in fourths when they go out on their boat.
Thanks for all the ideas!
A66eyroad, what a wonderful excuse to get together for lunch! I'll look forward to it!

Have a wonderful cruise. Rest and relaxation!
