In the past, there have been several members who watch the reality TV show, Survivor - anybody watching it this season?
Malcolm made a phenomenal strategic move this week . . . way to go, Malcolm!! Took 'ole Phillip by surprise!! I loved it when Malcolm gave Eddie the hidden immunity idol, only to pull out another one for himself!! ;D
Every time one THINKS they know what is going down at tribal council - something happens that flips things.
It will be interesting to see the show next week to see what everyone thought of this weeks tribal council. Way to go 3 Amigo's!! ;D
I loved the look on Michael's face as he sits on the jury as all this was going down . . . . he was loving it!

Bucky, I still watch Survivor, but do not keep totally up on who is who. This last week was a real riot though. The young guys maintained control! The show also picks what it wants to show and not reveal also. Phillip had worn out his welcome. He was sort of a drone and thought he was top dog.

I kind of like Malcolm's twists in the show. I am not sure I'm going to like him being gone. The others are kind of blah.

I guess out of the survivors that are still left - the two I would like to see make it to the top two are Cochran and Brenda.
You know, I haven't noticed them fishing this season - have they and I just don't remember that? Usually, there is one or two of the guys who are out there catching fish for the tribe.
I don't know, if I had to pick between the TV reality show Survivor or Big Brother to be a contestant on, I'd pick Big Brother. (not that I would do either . . . just sayin' :D) Of course, there is NO WAY HOSEA anybody would see me on national TV in a swimsuit . . . nope, nope, nope!

Cochran has really come on this season. He has actually one some challenges. If he can keep hanging in there, I would like to see him win.
Brenda is really cute. I used to like Dawn before she started having all the breakdowns.
I haven't seen them fish either. Until the food auction, I think they were out of rice and beans. You would think someone would be fishing.

Reynold being voted off was no big surprise - he was next in the pecking order.
I loved the surprised look on Andrea's face when she got blindsided! To leave the show with an immunity idol in her pocket . . . .
They have to be careful who they want sitting next to themselves in the finals. If they take someone like Sherri, who isn't a threat and she isn't good in challenges, thinking they can beat her might backfire as she has been flying under the radar the whole time. At the very beginning, Sherri's name came up many times to be voted off and yet, she's still in the game.
I don't know, Cochran's a good player and he loves the game - although, he might "think" too much and analyze strategic moves too much - it might cost him a ticket to the jury.
I think the preview for this next week is the loved ones come.

So glad Phillip is off. I hated it when Malcolm got kicked off. But it was almost worth it to see how he and Reynold laughed when Andrea got blindsided.
I had mentioned the no fishing thing to my daughter and she noticed it too. I don't remember Jeff giving them fishing supplies in a reward challenge this season. Maybe I just forgot seeing it, lol.
This week should be interesting. Just once I would like to see Sherry's eye makeup run, but it must be permanent because it hasn't budged, lol.

:( tonight's elimination
I can't believe this Sunday is the finale. Something must have happened that someone gets hurt or is taken out of the game by a preview I saw. Hmmmmmm

What a blindside last night!! She (I can't remember her name - haha) didn't see it coming. It may hurt the others in the long run. She was really mad.

I felt so bad for Brenda - she was deeply hurt by it. The least they could have done was waited a week since she had just given them a chance to be with their loved ones and enjoy food, etc. when she got NOTHING.
When the immunity challenge was down to Dawn and Brenda I kept talking to the TV and saying, "Brenda, hold on . . . don't let Dawn talk you into giving it up because you're going to NEED that immunity!". Sigh - she didn't listen to me.
Brenda is really going to be hurt when she can see what has transpired during this game after it's all over. She "protected" Dawn and was such a support to her and what did she get in return? A trip to the jury bench.
I think this is going to affect how Brenda votes in the end.
Brenda was a good competitor and did well in challenges - she definitely was a threat to the others.
I've changed my mind now on who I would like to see win this season. I hope it's either Erik or Eddie. I DON'T want Dawn to win, that's for sure.

P.S. By the way . . if there are any Big Brother fans out there - a new season starts June 28th. If you want to have a chance to be on the show, you have until this Saturday, May 11th to apply. ;) ;D
This week was interesting. I like Brenda this season, not so much the last time she was on. She obviously took her father's advice this time. She did such a good deed for the rest of the cast. You could tell that Dawn was more mad than disappointed. I liked Dawn better during her last season. You sure can't trust her now.
Poor Brenda, I felt so bad for her. I really didn't think they would go through with it because so often, they don't. She did not deserve to be voted off. I know it's strategy but they could have waited a week to show some appreciation. But then that is not the way the game is played and she was a threat.
Sunday's show look like it will be pretty good, maybe another surprise. It's hard to believe it's the finale already.
Ha, but let me tell you what I really think, lol. (BTW I thought Russell Hantz was the best strategic player ever and should have won his season. No hate mail please, lol Yes, Boston Rob was good too.)

TONIGHT - May 12th is the season finale of Survivor.
Hmmm, who will walk away 1 million dollars richer by the end of this evening??
There must be some sort of medical emergency, accident, or something that has happened that takes out another player - we'll find out during the show tonight.
I'm hoping that Eddie or Erik wins.
I hope Brenda wins the favorite vote or whatever it's called and wins some money too.

I thought it was a good ending. Nice that the vote for Malcolm and Brenda came in so close for fan favorite. Happy for Brenda that she is doing so well.
Fall season looks like it will be interesting.

Malcolm won the fan favorite.
It was a good show - Cochran kinda lucked out that Erik was taken out of the game due to being dehydrated or he would have given him a run for his money and possibly won the final immunity and would have been in the final three.
Brenda looked so cute preggers. Too bad the fan favorite wasn't a tie so she could have gotten half of the winnings.
What do you bet that Cochran is getting a lot of "female" fan mail . . . since he's a millionaire now. ;)
Wonder if there will be returning "fan favorites" next season or all newbies?
