Post by: bloodless on March 29, 2013, 02:07:55 PM
Open precooked ham and heat.
Open industrial size can of ranch style beans.
Open plastic container of potato salad.

Bake a cake. (Hey, I'm not lazy.....!)

You work too hard. I would buy the cake or better yet go to the restaurant for the meal.

Just a little side note IF you should dine out for Easter Sunday . . . . please don't forget to give a decent tip to your server, they are working on the holiday so YOU can enjoy time with family/friends.  Plus, working in the restaurant business on a holiday makes for a v-e-r-y long day as they have to start prepping food very early in the morning and throughout the day.

Been there, done that and my feet were aching by the end of the day.

Also, don't forget, there are other reservations or seatings AFTER you, so don't sit there for several hours just visiting.  (OK, I'll get off my soapbox now.  ;) )

May you all have a Happy Easter.

Bucky

We are having ham spaghetti, that's spaghetti with pieces of ham added to it and coleslaw. Strawberry pie for dessert.

Happy Easter everyone!

and I thought I was doing something special by using package mashed potatoes.   I made chicken and noodles and yeast rolls and chocolate pie on Saturday so all I had to do was reheat today.
Happy Easter~

Joe I think you established a consesus. Next year I guess I'll have to not strain myself with baking. Love everyone's plans, by the way.

Yes. I had a hot fudge Sunday shooter. My grandsons had cheese sticks and chocolate milk. Sarah had a cheese cake shooter, Beau had a Blondie, and my wife Jan had chocolate moose shooter. Everyone got what they wanted.

Hey, if it doesn't come in a box, can or bag, I don't cook it.  Now that we are empty nesters, I rarely cook at all.  My husband has started cooking for me.  What a doll!!!

Hope everyone had a great Easter holiday!!
