Say you become famous and you're invited to appear on a late-night talk show. What song would the band play as you are walking out onto the stage?
Home, by Michael Buble. I call that song my anthem, because I always can't wait to be home
:-)
Can't remember the name of the person - could have been Helen Reddy, and the song 'I am what I am, yes, I'm my only special creation'.
At least, I think that's what it's called.

Traveling Wilbury's "....and there's nothing in the way to stop me....headin' for the light."
my own little world by matthew west
Proud Mary (no my name isn't Mary. :-)
Like Timex, I take a licking and keep on ticking. I know it is not a theme song but it may be an appropriate commercial for most of us. "Zippity-Do-Dah"
I LOVE the Traveling Wilburys! But mine would be " It's alright". Not sure if that's the name but they tell you it's alright 20some times throughout the song. My son and I counted once and decided there are definitely days you need to hear that it's alright that many times! And then maybe play it again :)
If I need pepping up I always thing of the one called Center Field.
Mine would be Blessed by Martina McBride!!
We need "Like" buttons like on Facebook. There are some good ideas on this thread.
Give Me Jesus. Gets me through so much
Into The Mystic by Van Morrison
I forget who the artist is, but Joe's song should be "Breathe"......Its a very calming song! I always think of Joe when I hear it....Breathe, just Breathe.......

Many years ago, Disney did a short that would not be PC today because of the stereo typing. Forgetting the that the video is not PC, The "song of the south" has been one of my favorites along with "What a wonderful World".
"Song of the south" refrain:
Zippity-do-Dah, Zippity-ay, my oh my what a wonderful day
plenty of sun shine heading my way
Zipity do dah, zippity ay
Mister blue bird on my shoulder, ain't it a fact, it's actual, everything is satisfactual
Mister Louis Armstrong did such a beautiful rendition of "What a wonderful world". It warms my heart every time I hear it.
There are so many songs that can lift our spirit, they just seem like the right things to program our minds with. They allow us to better tolerate the pain, depression, and anxiety.
I agree Joe. What a Wonderful World by Louie Armstrong has to be one of the best songs ever done. It just warms you heart.

What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger by Kelly Clarkson ;D
eta: What a Wonderful World by Israel Kama...something... was the song I had played at my Mom's funeral. I love that song.
THIS THING CALLED LOVE BY QUEEN
Joe, Thanks for reminding me of Louis Armstrong and that great song. Sure brings back memories of great days gone by.
I think my theme song would be "on the road again". All we do at our house is go to the doctor. Our car is our second home. Irish
Sittin on The Dock of the Bay by Ottis Redding. Love this song.
