Title: Leg/Groin Tenderness
Post by: susanep on January 14, 2013, 05:44:51 AM
For a long time now,  I have had upper leg close to groin area tenderness, and pain when sitting for very long without raising my legs up.

I have been pressing areas, and one place in that area feels more sore.

Do you think it's part of the fibromyalgia pain? The other leg doesn't have it hurt there.

The leg that hurts is the left one.

Thanks
susanep :)

I suggest that you see your doctor. While you are sitting waiting for your appoint, raise your legs up on your toe then raise you toes up from your heals with your heals on the ground. I do this 20 times every now and then to increase circulation after my broken hip.

Thanks Joe,  I will do that. I always worry about blood clots, but with the fibro it gets confusing.

That is why I suggested that you go to your doctor to have it checked out ASAP. It could also be a lymph issue.

Hi  :)

I also think you should ask the doc about it. I have read that if the hip jpoint gives problems the pain can be felt in the groin. That is NOT a dx - as you know - I'm no medic.

I hope you find out what is causing the pain. Keep us posted.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Sounds a lot like the places where I feel the pain that is actually coming from my hip. Hip pain is often felt elsewhere so you might want to get it checked.
