Has anyone ever heard of or tried Neuragen gel? It's a topical homeopathic gel for nerve pain. I saw some in local pharmacy, it's expensive and smells quite strong. Before I spend money on it, just thought I would see if anyone here has tried it.
Have not heard of this before. Are you in the US? I could not tell by looking at your profile. Hopefully someone will come on here who has used this, or at least seen it in stores. Lucy
Yea live in small town in US, our local pharmacy carries lots of homeopathic items. I looked at amazon to check reviews and found it there as well. Otherwise, I had never heard of it before yesterday!
It's been around since the mid 1990s, at least in Canada; it's manufactured in Nova Scotia, Canada. I've never heard any complaints about it, and it seems a lot of people have had success with it. I have a friend who alternates between Mecca cream, Neuragen, and Capsaicn for RA/neuropathy, and she rarely takes oral analgesics but remains very active.
I would be just a bit concerned with one of the ingredients, Bergamot oil, since when applied topically it can increase sun sensitivity and skin cancer risk, something that is already a problem for some of us.
I have not heard of it.
