Title: ANA/ENA ....Advice
Post by: gem.j on January 12, 2013, 08:14:03 AM
Ok so went to see a new GP (Doctor) on tuesday and she was so nice. She sat me down and said, tell me whats wrong, told her all and she said "We're gonna get you feeling better again" I cried, it hurt, lol. She has sent me to Hospital for carpel tunel and prescribed me some good girly gel :-). Now she said to me that even though my ANA came back ok that means nothing and she sent me for ENA. Does anyone here have normal ANA and elevated ENA? I hope it comes back dodgy cos if not how the heck do I explain all my symptoms?????

ANA and ENA don't necessarily correlate with how you are feeling at the moment.  My ANA goes up and down and my ENA have gone negative then positive again, then negative again and never correlate with my symptoms (when Im feeling my worst sometimes my bloods are really good).  My ANA has always been positive though.
