Hi all. After a relaxing but busy summer of feeling pretty darn good I went back to work. I've been working in my classroom for 3 weeks but Monday put in a 10 hour day with open house and yesterday was a stressful first day with my class.
I've been up since 4 am with chills, anxiety through the roof, stomach issues, achy.... yuck.
I'm getting ready now & thought I'd ask for some prayers from you kind people to make it through today.
I'd really appreciate it. I need the weekend already :(
Sending hugs and strong white light to surround you and hold you. Get rest as you can know many prayers are being sent for you!

going up right now.
And remember, kids are probably feeling just as much anxiety! All new people in a new classroom with a new teacher...can be scary.
This too shall pass, it will all be routine before you know it!
Bless you. Hugs and prayers!
Poor sweet engy, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know how much teaching means to you. I sure hope you're not coming down with something.
Maybe you should take it easy today.
Holding you in the light, my friend!

Prayers are heavenbound!!
Engy, I sent you a PM (as if you have time to read it!)

With the time difference I'm a bit late sending you positive vibes from Australia.
I hope you had a great day and are feeling better.
You're now another day closer to the weekend ;)
Thank you, Thank you all!
I had a minor breakdown this morning before leaving the house & it helped releave some of the stress.
I said, "no, I cannot" to 2 requests from other teachers who wanted me to do something they could do themselves.
I ate lunch & peed in 20 min. instead of 10.
I asked for help from my lovely coworker who helped me!
I came home & hubby made dinner so I am on the couch resting. I am showering & going to bed very early tonight & dear 9 year old daughter is loading the dishwasher.
I am very blessed & lucky, without my friends & family I would not be able to work full time. All of your prayers & light helped me get through my day. It is the roughest class I've had in my 14 years teaching (4th grade too Cheryl) but I love them all already & know this is still my calling.
I am still achy & dizzy & just feeling yucky but better than I was before. I also realized that I'm premenstrual right now which always makes my POTS symptoms worse. So I think I can ward off a flare if I can rest every second while I'm home.
Thanks again each one of you. I feel the support & love. May God Bless you all.

You are in my prayers that your days are filled with joy and blessings,
That they pass without pain and stress. Teachers like you are hard to find - caring ones!
My DD is a teacher for second grade in a religious school and last year some of the parents wanted her to flunk their kids cause they love her so much.
Have a great Friday my friend! Cricket~
engy,
I'm very in responding but I hope that you've had some rest over the weekend. So glad you have the help and support of your family, and that you are able to say "no" when needed.
Keeping you in my thoughts for your new week at school and hope it's not as tough on you. :)
Take care,
Melinda
