It's a brand new month - August 2012. Along with this new month comes some new birthdays and anniversaries.

My sweet baby boy is getting married this month! August 25th! And I still don't have my dress!!! AAAAAHHH.
His birthday is also this month, the 10th. I am getting so old. :(

My birthday was today (the 4th). I went to dinner with my family and had birthday cake and ice cream. It was a nice time.

On the 25th, we will celebrate our 44th anniversary!
Congratulations to all of you celebrating anniversaries and birthdays in August.
My son turns 38 on the 23rd. It was neat---we brought our first son home on our 6th anniversary!!
And his son turned 9 on the 4th.
August is a busy month for me.
My husband and I were married Aug, 1rst, my BIL's the 3rd, hubby's birthday is the 14th, my father's the 15th, our daughter's is the 23rd. (and some aunt, uncles and cousins too somewhere)....lots of celebrating!!!!

Thank you Bucky! Going fishing with hubby and the kiddos, then out to dinner if I'm up to it. And yes, there will be tons of cake! I'm thinking cheesecake or Boston cream pie because I choke on regular cake :P but everyone else likes chocolate cake best so I think we need BOTH 8) 8) 8)

I turned 59 on the 3 of this month. Only 1 year to go to turn the big 60. My husband thinks I'm young since he's 66. We went out and had hamburgers. Then the next Thursday we celebrated with my sister in law at Logan's Roadhouse.

August 11th would have been my mother's 92nd birthday, and my parents' 62nd wedding anniversary. She passed 5 years ago later in the month.
I miss her but I have so many good memories of birthday celebrations we had with our family; cookouts and games we played outdoors, homemade ice cream, and if we were lucky...for her own birthday she would bake one of her spectacular coconut cream pies. MMMNNnnnnnn. :) If my brother was in town from the Air Force, she'd make him a famous butterscotch pie just for him.

I am SO glad I found this group! Not so depressed now. I found other people who understand! I've been diagnosed 1 week now, and it ain't easy!
Birthday last Tues (Aug 28). Had a really nice day. We saw the movie 'Hope Springs' - cute movie.

Hi all, We went out yesterday for our anniversary (14th), and just relaxed, with no expectations. We looked around in some stores just for the fun of it with no have too's. hehe.
Hubby ordered us some special bar b qued ribs, and trimmings. We had cheese cake. Yummm.
We were just happy to be together another year. Exchanged cards. (special) We basically just got away from everyone, and everything for a day.
We had a wonderful day.
