Lori,
What's a uds?  I had something once where they measured how much urine I released, if there were spasms and if there was any residual.  It was a little interesting trying to lay down flat and urinate with someone in the room with you. Finally I asked her to step out and then things worked. LOL   >:(  But it did show issues so..

I've had the cytoscope done but I had just had surgery for endometriosis and somehow my bladder got injured during surgery.  I couldn't take pyridium/azo before the scope but I had it with me for after and that helped me a lot so if you do opt to go through with it, you might consider having it with you.

I see a uro dr Tuesday after unrelenting pain, spasms and possible retention (I say possible because I can't tell if it's spasms or retention).  I'm hoping we can just try meds and skip those tests.  I doubt I'll be that lucky. hehe

UDS was horrible... after several catheters i am flaring..

now today im supposed to have cytoscope- however there will be a long discussion with dr before i say yes... i was not aware of what the uds entailed and im not a happy camper...

from what i read a cytoscope may or may not be able to detect ic anyhow

and funny thing is... the more azo cranberrry i take the better the frequency and pain get- now from what i read about ic cranberry would irritte the heck our of ic

i also started d- mannose

will post later but im feeling kinda irritable with doctors right now... think i neec to go pray before i leave the house!!!!!

for all who pray, please keep me in prayer this am.

thanks
