Just learned that my sister that is 4 years younger than me had a seizure, so her son took her to the hospital, and she had 2 more.
They sent her on to another hospital, and they took an mri I think, anyway, they found an anyerism (sp) in her brain(a bleed), and tonight are transferring her to another hospital where they have a specialist who knows more about this, and are suppose to do surgery at some point.
That is all I know right now. Please pray for her if you will.
She also takes care of 2 little grand daughters for her son when he is working. One has cystic fibrosis, and both were taken away from a mother given over to drugs. My nephew has full custody, and he is a wonderful father.
Thank you

I am SO sorry. My five year old daughter had a seizure for the first time last month - it was the most terrifying moment of my life (it was not a febrile seizure and was completely out of the blue).
I will say a prayer that they can quickly treat the aneuryism and she will have a full recovery.
Prayers and positive thoughts on their way from my neck of the woods!
I am so sorry your sister is having problems. Prayers have been sent for your dear sister and grandchildren. Prayers for you also and a huge hug for you.
Please keep us posted.

My prayers are with you. I feel your fears, my own sister has been battling for nearly a year now with a multitude of serious medical conditions. May you, and all your family be blessed and feel peace.

Thank you all, and for your prayers,
She came through everything, and her main problem was a stroke. She will still be in the hospital awhile, but I am so thankful she came through this.
susanep :)
Wow Susan, So glad to hear that she made it through surgery. She will have a long haul ahead of her but she will make it with the prayers and well wishes of all of us and omany others.
Try not to fret too much over this cause it is added stress for you what with dealing with the loss of your mother. Life has a way of continuing on despite all the troubles that happen on the way. Faith will see you through. Irish
That is good news that she had a successful surgery! I hope she has a speedy recovery. Hugs to you both.
Susanep,
I'll keep your sister in my prayers for her recovery from surgery and stroke. My gosh, you said she had been passing out and such...is that right?
I hope she does well in her recovery. It make take some time and lots of work, but it can be miraculous what people can accomplish with good treatment these days.
Please take care of yourself through this challenging time in your life. We're all behind you, dear! ;)
Hi Susanep!
My Lord... when I think I have if tough, I read things like this.... I'm so sorry and I pray for you and your sister's quick recovery.... and the little one with CF... OMG! :'(
God bless yall and you all are in my prayers
Thank you everyone, and my sister is finally coming home, but will be staying with her youngest son.
After even more tests, the final outcome was that she had seizures, and where she fell caused a brain bleed, but it is in the process of healing, and the body reabsorbing the blood.
The strange thing is our mom fell and hit her head, and the side of her face then died that night.
My sister is not allowed to drive for 6 months seizure free according to her doctor, and per TN law.
She says she is having the worst headache she has ever had.

Susanep,
I'm so glad to hear that. My prayers for her continued healing. She's very lucky to have a sister like you...and a wonderful son that loves her so much.
take care, and get lost of rest. Worry stress like that can slam us after the storm passes.

She says she is having the worst headache she has ever had.
They've always told my husband (who gets bad headaches), that if he ever gets one that hurts more than it ever has, to get to the ER ASAP.
I hope your sister recovers quickly and has no more further seizures.
